Adds an example plugin implementing an mTLS-enabled binary cache store
(https+mtls:// scheme) using client certificates for authentication.
Darwin fix: don't link liblix* into plugins (host resolves symbols at
runtime via dynamic_lookup). Explicitly link curl so it binds to
Nix-store libcurl, not /usr/lib/libcurl. This prevents the plugin's
curl_easy_setopt calls from operating on the wrong libcurl instance.
Test portability: BSD sed -i wrapper, OpenSSL -sha256 for cert signing,
redirect test server output to log file.

Running the sandbox (as unprivileged user) requires all of user, mount and PID
namespacing. Previously, only the user namespacing support was checked.
Unfortunately, newer Ubuntu kernels impose restrictions on capabilities within
unprivileged user namespaces [1]; as observed by experimentation, in particular
(re-)mounting filesystems or changing mount propagation is prohibited even
inside a mount namespace, making it impossible to use the Lix sandbox. So any
tests requiring sandboxing should check for this breakage and be skipped if
detected.
`unshare --mount` performs the same problematic operations, so that's what gets
used for the test. PID namespaces are included as well for completeness, even
though currently no instance of breakage due to them specifically is known.
This fixes [2] for the functional test suite only.

We were catching ForeignExceptions believing it came from the TRY_AWAIT
handler, but this was misguided.
`j.dump()` is evaluated in synchronous context, outside of the `try {
... } catch (...)` block from `TRY_AWAIT`.
Therefore, we need to use `JSON::Exception` directly.
The previous test case did not catch it because:
(1) https://git.lix.systems/lix-project/lix/issues/865 hid the fact that
`--arg` was wrong.
(2) we did not grep for the warning because… we were not even copying
the strange store path to the binary cache.
(3) checking for the NAR happened after the NAR directory was emptied
for test reasons and this was not even caught neither.
Anyway, the test case was completely busted and has now been tested
without this commit and after this commit and we can confirm that prior
to this commit, the test will fail with an exception trace.

If the profile inode is invalid, e.g. invalid symlink, the current
generation cannot be discovered.
Nonetheless, this should not be a reason for an assert failure, instead
of crashing, just raise an error.

It's only used in a couple of tests, and only in such a way that
replacing it with a random command suffices.
I also removed a few pointless uses of the variable.

When the git default branch is not set to master the installcheck
test suite fails. This patch adjusts the test setup scripts to
ignore the system and user git config files.
GIT_CONFIG_SYSTEM is set to /dev/null to ignore /etc/gitconfig
GIT_CONFIG_GLOBAL is not set because the global config files
are loaded from $HOME or $XDG_CONFIG_HOME which we already
reset.

I was packaging Lix 2.91 for nixpkgs and was annoyed at the expect
dependency. Turns out that you can replace unbuffer with a pretty-short
Python script.
It became less short after I found out that Linux was converting \n to
\r\n in the terminal subsystem, which was not very funny, but is at
least solved by twiddling termios bits.

fix: Treat empty TMPDIR as unset
Fixes an instance of
nix: src/libutil/util.cc:139: nix::Path nix::canonPath(PathView, bool): Assertion `path != ""' failed.
... which I've been getting in one of my shells for some reason.
I have yet to find out why TMPDIR was empty, but it's no reason for
Nix to break.

Followup to https://gerrit.lix.systems/c/lix/+/1417 to ensure that this
parser will never take something that doesn't look like a version.
It turns out this problem is less alarming than initially thought
because it only applies to the testsuite in a non-default mode.

Since ad8a4b380e, the version printer returns "nix (Lix, like Nix) 2.x",
hence the `daemonVersion` was being set to the string "like".
Using `compareVersions` with a letter compares them lexicographically:
builtins.compareVersions "like" "2.12pre20230103" // => -1
builtins.compareVersions "like" "2.16.0" // => -1
This caused that `isDaemonNewer` always returned 1, falsy in Bash terms.
Therefore, the test suite skipped those tests where they use it.

Previously, the garbage collector found runtime roots on Darwin by
shelling out to `lsof -n -w -F n` then parsing the result.
However, this requires an lsof binary and can be extremely slow.
The official Apple lsof returns in a reasonable amount of time,
about 250ms in my tests, but the lsof packaged in nixpkgs is quite slow,
taking about 40 seconds to run the command.
Using libproc directly is about the same speed as Apple lsof,
and allows us to reënable several tests that were disabled on Darwin.

Functional tests can be run with
`meson test -C build --suite installcheck`.
Notably, functional tests must be run *after* running `meson install`
(Lix's derivation runs the installcheck suite in installCheckPhase so it
does this correctly), due to some quirks between Meson and the testing
system.
As far as I can tell the functional tests are meant to be run after
installing anyway, but unfortunately I can't transparently make
`meson test --suite installcheck` depend on the install targets.
The script that runs the functional tests, meson/run-test.py, checks
that `meson install` has happened and fails fast with a (hopefully)
helpful error message if any of the functional tests are run before
installing.

I think it is bad for these reasons when `tests/` contains a mix of
functional and integration tests
- Concepts is harder to understand, the documentation makes a good
unit vs functional vs integration distinction, but when the
integration tests are just two subdirs within `tests/` this is not
clear.
- Source filtering in the `flake.nix` is more complex. We need to
filter out some of the dirs from `tests/`, rather than simply pick
the dirs we want and take all of them. This is a good sign the
structure of what we are trying to do is not matching the structure
of the files.
With this change we have a clean:
```shell-session
$ git show 'HEAD:tests'
tree HEAD:tests
functional/
installer/
nixos/
```
