When calling `_deletePath` with a parent file descriptor, `openat` is made effective by using relative paths to the directory file descriptor. To avoid the problem, the signature is changed to resist misuse with an assert in the prologue of the function. Fixes CVE-2025-46415. Installation
On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Lix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):
$ curl -sSf -L https://install.lix.systems/lix | sh -s -- install
For systems that already have a Nix implementation installed, such as NixOS systems, read our install page
