* Move the extended attribute deletion after the hardlink sanity check. We shouldn't be removing extended attributes on random files. * Make the entity owner-writable before attempting to remove extended attributes, since this operation usually requires write access on the file, and we shouldn't fail xattr deletion on a file that has been made unwritable by the builder or a previous canonicalisation pass. Installation
On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Lix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):
$ curl -sSf -L https://install.lix.systems/lix | sh -s -- install
For systems that already have a Nix implementation installed, such as NixOS systems, read our install page
