When the configured maximum depth has been reached, attribute sets and lists are printed with ellipsis to indicate the elision of nested items. Previously, this happened even in case the structure being printed is empty, so that such items do not in fact exist. This is confusing, so stop doing it. Installation
On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Lix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):
$ curl -sSf -L https://install.lix.systems/lix | sh -s -- install
For systems that already have a Nix implementation installed, such as NixOS systems, read our install page
