async queries easily lead to high contention on the localstore sqlite lock. optimizing the lock wakeup scheme improves query performance by a linear factor (with the O(waiters) wakeup replaced by O(1) wakeup). on 100k drv closures we're now at 55s query, down from >8min in 2.93. Installation
On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Lix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):
$ curl -sSf -L https://install.lix.systems/lix | sh -s -- install
For systems that already have a Nix implementation installed, such as NixOS systems, read our install page
