previously we only had one build hook in waiting at most because build hook rpc was synchronous. now that it no longer is we attempt to start one hook per derivation, which depending on scheduling can be a *very* large number. restrict the waiting hook count to 4 to some concurrency without collecting a large number of hooks that may never do anything. Installation
On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Lix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):
$ curl -sSf -L https://install.lix.systems/lix | sh -s -- install
