this does nothing on classes that are never used as base classes and have only a single base class of their own. all of these classes are also made final to prove that they are indeed in this category. once we need to derive any of them we can erase their `final` specifiers. Installation
On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Lix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):
$ curl -sSf -L https://install.lix.systems/lix | sh -s -- install
For systems that already have a Nix implementation installed, such as NixOS systems, read our install page
