Eelco Dolstra d7bae52b9d Call functors with both arguments at once

This is not really useful on its own, but it does recover the
'infinite recursion' error message for '{ __functor = x: x; } 1', and
is more efficient in conjunction with #3718.

Fixes #5515.

Nix

Nix is a powerful package manager for Linux and other Unix systems that makes package management reliable and reproducible. Please refer to the Nix manual for more details.

Installation

On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Nix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):

$ curl -L https://nixos.org/nix/install | sh
